Devotional Attention is an evolving creative practice about what sustained attention does: how noticing becomes relationship, how curiosity becomes a form of care, and how the erotic can teach us to linger without trying to possess or resolve.
We begin with sensation, scene, rhythm, and relationship, then listen for the insight carried by the body, weaving in the heart and mind as we spiral through.
Teach my hands before my mind. Teach my attention before my certainty.
I write lyrical somatic poetry and prose, micro memoir, Sacred Smut, ritual, spoken story, and embodied criticism.
The work moves among eroticism, gender, illness, shame, grief, devotion, queer refusal, and the messy scripture of the body. I am interested in writing that does more than describe experience: writing that alters attention, changes the temperature of a room, or leaves a sensation behind.
Sometimes I write to be understood.
Sometimes I write to cast a spell.
Devotional Attention is an umbrella, not a single form. The work may arrive as lyrical prose, performed micro memoir, guided somatic storytelling, somatic meditation, Sacred Smut, spoken story, ritual, philosophical inquiry, or creative documentation.
The forms change. The attention remains alive to what an encounter is making possible.
