Scar Care Scar-care education beginning with what you want: more comfort, movement, sensation, pleasure, or connection.

What do you want now from the tissue, from touch, from movement, and from your relationship with the place that changed?
I offer individualized education informed by my study with Marjorie Brook, Scar Tissue Release Therapy, anatomy, fascia, movement, massage, somatics, and Somatic Sex Education. Together, these approaches can support mobility, hydration, sensation, comfort, curiosity, and an evolving relationship with a body that has changed.
This room is for many kinds of scars: birth, circumcision, chest and bottom surgery, hysterectomy, cancer, emergency surgery, injury, trauma, and internal or visible tissue. Care may involve movement, comfort, hydration, sensation, grief, pleasure, ritual, erotic possibility, re/storying, or several of these at once. We begin with what you want.

Pleasure is a method of attention. It gives the body something wanted to organize around while we meet tissue, numbness, sensitivity, grief, effort, memory, and change.
The erotic may be bathwater and oil, fantasy and toys, laughter, intensity, awkwardness, breath, movement, or the intimacy of another person’s full attention. It may be solo, partnered, casual, ritualized, explicitly sexual, or not sexual at all. What matters is that the body remains an author—able to want, refuse, revise, pause, and discover another route.
Scar care does not need to wait until the body is understood or the difficult feelings are finished. Desire can enter at the beginning.
Begin with your fuck yes and cultivate elasticity in tissue and desire.
A tactile pleasure prompt for feather touch, pressure, circular movement, and whole-body noticing.
A practice for following contact, protection, breath, and the body’s changing availability.
An archive teaching on pleasure, nervous-system participation, and care that reaches beyond the scar alone.
