Queerly Fluid Practices of eros, gender, scars, consent, and queer aliveness.

A body is a field of possibility

Queerly Fluid gathers the practices I have made for meeting aliveness through eroticism, scars, consent, kink, ritual, narrative, touch, and gender-unruly embodiment.

Somatic Gendering grew while I was moving through testosterone transformation and conducting a two-year embodied study of Somatic Sex Education. Gender became a fertile practice ground for following aliveness; the work that remains is an abundant record of ecdysis: of living my be/coming aloud. It is a doorway into the cosmology, not its center.

This work often speaks to people who have already done a great deal of thinking and talking; they know that insight alone is not always change. They are ready to practice: to notice sensation, follow a pulse, meet a scar, experiment with ritual, ask for touch, and become curious about what they want from where they are.

Some of this work is offered through teaching and bodywork. Much of it is freely available. All of it begins by bringing thought and felt experience into conversation and listening for what becomes more alive.

Enter through a practice

You do not need to decide what this work means before touching it. Any doorway will do, so might as well start with the one that winks at you.

Erotic Stewardship

Eros is aliveness in motion. It can appear as hunger, heat, curiosity, play, creative charge, a clean refusal, a widening breath, passionate refusal, or the feeling of being pulled into relationship with something that matters.

Erotic Stewardship is the practice of tending that energy with consent, attention, discernment, and imagination. It does not ask us to obey every intensity or pretend the body is untouched by history. It asks how we might become more intimate with what moves through us, and more skillful in what we make from it.
