Meet the practitioners

Bam Truong uses acupuncture—including the traditional surrounding the dragon technique—to support circulation, sensation, movement, and function in scar tissue.
Ro Rose brings pleasure-centered scar care, somatics, body mechanics, erotic stewardship, and room for grief into post-surgical integration.
Manna Mu offers trauma-informed, queer- and trans-centered scarwork that follows the body’s pace and consent through top surgery, augmentation, graft, pelvic, and abdominal healing.
Kota Rook offers trans-centered pre- and post-operative lymphatic drainage, scar care, and fascial work supporting swelling, movement, and changed-body integration.

What gathered us

Montréal is a national and international hub for gender-affirming surgery. Yet the knowledge, time, and ongoing care people need after surgery are often left thin by a medical system designed for efficiency.

This gathering made room for something wider: scars as living tissue and lived story; post-surgical care as a place for agency, grief, joy, sensation, movement, and reconnection with a body in (r)evolution.
